New Delhi is the capital of India, a country which is one of the largest emerging economies of the world. Delhi has an area of 1,483 sq km and is situated at Latitudinal parallel: 28.3oN and Longitudinal meridian: 77.13oE. It is 293 m above sea level and has a population of 13.85million (Census 2001).
